In 10 days I will be heading to Gainesville, GA (with my dad in tow for company during the drive...thanks Dad!) to begin my apprenticeship with Adventures in Missions through the program called Center for Global Action.  Soon I will be attending leadership courses in the mornings, working in the office in the afternoons, and living in community, but first, fundraising must go on.  There are several ways that you can help should you feel led:

1) Prayer. Always. Lots of it. I'll pray for you too!

2)  Buy a t-shirt.  This is my favorite option because I'm really excited about the saying: "I'm just a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody who can save anybody."  I think that accurately describes what our faith walk should look like.  It's not about us.  If you're interested in getting a shirt you can go to this link:

http://www.booster.com/caser-the-racer-next-step

The shirts will be available until October 1st and are $25.  There is a $5 shipping fee but good news, find some friends who live near you who want a shirt too and order in bulk together so you only have to pay one shipping fee!  Please feel free to share the link as well.  All proceeds will help both with funding my CGA account as well as contributing to general living expenses such as gas and other items.

3)  If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution, you can donate to my CGA account directly.  Those funds go towards housing, food, and my participation in the program.  If you choose this option there are a few ways to donate:

  • Donate by mailing a check.
  • Donate through my blog page.

The second option is the simplest because you have already successfully accessed my blog.  All that needs to happen now would be for you to click the "Support Me" tab on the homepage and go through the steps.  When you are prompted to select a program, choose Center for Global Action.

If you prefer the option of sending a check please mail your tax-deductible contribution to:

Adventures In Missions
P.O. Box 742570
Atlanta, GA 30374-2570

Please include my name (Casey Baxter) in the memo line of your check.  The check must be made out to Adventures in Missions and not the World Race, Center for Global Action or me.  The check cannot be processed unless it is made out to Adventures.  Additionally, please only place one check per envelope.

In case you are interested, your donations are tax deductible based on the policies and principles detailed at www.adventures.org/policies

********************************************************************************************************************************

If you have any questions about any of these things, feel free to email me at casey.e.baxter@gmail.com with questions.  I will be posting more updates once I arrive in Gainesville.  As always, thanks for your support in reading my blogs as well as financially.
